The position is responsible to the Scientist I and will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
i. Participate in preparation of criteria for vetting of applications for registration and accreditation of research institutions is adhered to;
ii. Regularly update and maintain of database for registered and accredited research institutions;
iii. Participate in preparation of appropriate checklists for applications of registration and
accreditation of research institutions;
iv. Participate in monitoring, evaluation and inspection of registered and/or accredited institutions;
v. Organize for a for awareness creation among stakeholders on the criteria for registration
and accreditation;
Qualifications, Competencies and Experience required for appointment to this position:
i. Master Degree from a recognized university in Project Management , Humanities or Social Sciences or other Sciences with 3 years’ experience
ii. Data entry and database management skills
Core competencies
i. Good Interpersonal skills ;
ii. Policy analysis;
iii. Strategic planning;
i. Scientific writing and publishing;
iv. Proficiency in statistical analysis.
