JOB DESCRIPTION
The collaboration will start in September / October 2017.
The collaborator will respond to the HQ Desk Officer.
The Emergency Project Administrator will be supported and supervised by the Regional Administrator based in Nairobi.
S/he will work in close collaboration with all the Area Managers and the Project Managers (PMs), both national and international.
Main tasks:
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Degree in Economics, Business Studies Accounting
Experience in management of emergency and/or development projects (min. 2 years)
Knowledge of Donors’ administrative and procurement procedures (EU, ECHO, OFDA, Unicef, DFID)
Strong communication skills
Proven team working skills, adaptability and flexibility
Proven ability to work under stress and with tight deadlines
Accuracy and attention to details
Fluency in written and spoken English
Excellent IT skills
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of Somalia
