    Administrative Officer II

    Basic Salary Scale: KShs. 31,270 x 1,300 – 32,570 x 1,380 – 33,950 x 1,390 – 35,340 x 1,460 – 36,800 x 1,470 – 38,270 x 1,470 – 39,740 x 1,520 – 41,260 p.m.

    Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Undertake General Office Administration;
    2. Handle Public Complaints;
    3. Compile Returns, daily operational and incidental reports;
    4. Collect and collate data for preparation of speech briefs, report writing and updating biodata;
    5. Assist in organizing meetings and meeting rooms;
    6. Assist in scheduling and planning county events;
    7. Transport management for the Department;
    8. Supervise junior staff and their performance;
    9. Participate in the development of policies and plans;
    10. Perform other general administrative duties as assigned; and
    11. Undertake any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this position, an officer must:-

    1. Be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Social Services, preferably in Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, Anthropology, Sociology, Criminology or related field from a university recognized in Kenya; Possess a strong analytical background with problem solving skills;
    2. Demonstrate ability to meet strict timelines, and complete tasks/reports effectively; and
    3. Demonstrate ability to collect and collate intelligence related information.
