As the new Bar Manager you will:

• Be part of our pre-opening team in this amazing project from the very beginning, with opportunity to use your experience and skills and also gain new one.
• Recruit, manage, train, develop and inspire a team of hospitality superstars
• Inspire and lead our bar team to deliver personalised service that exceeds expectations, ensuring each guest enjoys a unique and memorable experience.
• Curate and continually evolve an innovative cocktail menu that reflects the seasonal inspiration.
• Oversee precise inventory management, optimising efficiency in ordering and stock control.
• Mentor and cultivate the skills of our bar team, fostering their growth in both mixology expertise and the art of impeccable customer service.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to achieve collective goals of revenue growth and sustained profitability.
• Liaise with the marketing team to promote the bar.
• Empower the team to animate the food & beverage experience.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate restaurant and hotel liquor licensing guidelines, house management policies & food safety standards.
• Establish procedures, processes and accurate information that support key financial objectives, manage department budgets and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food & Beverage or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel bar environment.
• Experience as a team leader.
• Strong wine, beer and cocktail knowledge.
• Knowledge of the market and current trends.
• Passion for this job, proactivity, thinking out of the box.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
