    Business Development Executive

    Key Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate effective self-leadership and collaboration with Client Partners, Business Delivery team, and clients to ensure the success of all initiatives.
    • Formulate and implement a business strategy to meet sales performance targets.
    • Create, manage, and execute comprehensive project plans for the successful onboarding of new logistics projects.
    • Prepare quotations for warehousing, air, sea, road imports and exports worldwide.
    • Negotiate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents to get the best rates.
    • Identify new business opportunities and new ways of reaching existing markets.
    • Retain existing customers and win incremental revenue from them.
    • Conduct regular sales visits to customers and produce follow-up reports.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to always provide excellent customer service.
    • Prepare and submit all tenders’ quotes and make effective follow-ups.
    • Develop mutual business opportunities with associates in the region.
    • Organize and represent the company at key networking events to raise the company profile.
    • Analyze client performance and recommend enhancements for client success.
    • Prepare monthly sales reports and carry out sales forecasts and analysis.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
    • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in business development in a clearing and forwarding company.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and high emotional intelligence.
    • Experience in account management, sales, business development, and/or customer success.
    • Highly organized with robust project management expertise.
    • Proven track record in project management and successful contract execution.
    • Analytical prowess to evaluate data and recommend enhancements for client success.
