Civil Engineer (Contractual Basis) at Prestige Bluestar Holdings Ltd

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team on a project-by-project contractual basis. You will be responsible for the site survey, design, and execution of various projects across our subsidiaries, including Bluestar Design Group Ltd, Bluestar Home Renovations Ltd, and Bluestar Gardening and Landscaping Ltd. Our projects cater to high-end clients, so quality and attention to detail are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys and assessments.
• Develop design plans and specifications in line with project goals.
• Oversee the execution and completion of construction projects from start to finish.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and timelines.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Source and maintain contact with reputable suppliers and service providers who deliver high-quality work for premium clients.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all stages of the project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in site survey, design, and construction management.
• Established network of reliable suppliers and service providers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with construction regulations and best practices in Kenya.
• Experience working with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) is an added advantage.
