    Court Process Server

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serving court process in accordance with provisions of the law;
    • Drafting and Filing affidavits of service;
    • Maintaining a register of service of court process;
    • Manning the legal department registry and documents;
    • Performing clerical duties; and
    • Any other relevant duties that may be assigned.

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C-(Minus)
    • Diploma in Legal Studies from a duly registered institution is an added advantage
    • Registered as a court process server with experience of at least 3 years, post qualification
    • Must hold a current license as a court process server
    • Good understanding of the civil procedure and rules thereunder in regard of service of court process
    • Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya on leadership and integrity;

    Those with foreign Degrees should have them authenticated by Commission for Higher Education (CHE). In addition, during the interview, they will be required to submit their academic certificates authenticated by Issuing Institutions to the Board.

    Chapter 6 documents will only be required from successful candidates upon offer of job and not at the application stage.
