• Optimizing working capital management, ensuring our cash flow can support our growth
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, partners, and financial institutions to secure favorable terms
• Implement rigorous cost control measures across all departments without compromising quality
• Develop and execute strategies for margin management, balancing profitability with our mission
• Oversee inventory control processes, optimizing stock levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to drive data-informed decision making across the organization
• Develop and maintain financial models that can adapt quickly to our changing business needs
• Implement and refine financial systems, automations and processes suitable for a high-growth environment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (tax, admin) while maintaining the agility needed in a startup

Profile

We're seeking a professional who combines financial acumen with a passion for positive change. The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong background in finance with a CPA
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment - experience with end-to-end running of all key finance processes
• Exceptional analytical skills combined with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
• The ability to balance accuracy with pragmatism, making sound decisions with limited information
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in resource-constrained situations
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• A proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bring up the good, the bad and the ugly - a "say what you mean and mean what you say" mentality
• Experience with financial software (Microsoft Dynamics) and a knack for leveraging technology to increase efficiency
• A genuine interest in sustainability and social impact
