    Food and Beverage Supervisor - Thika Road

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and other food and beverage outlets.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
    • Recruit, train, and manage food and beverage staff.
    • Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
    • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
    • Handle customer complaints and feedback efficiently and professionally.
    • Prepare and manage budgets for the food and beverage department.
    • Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability.
    • Analyze sales and performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
    • Oversee inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and manage orders to ensure timely delivery of stock.
    • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste.
    • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to develop and update menus.
    • Ensure menu items are cost-effective and meet customer preferences.
    • Monitor food trends and introduce new items as needed.

    Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in food and beverage management.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
    • Proficiency in using restaurant management software..
