Maintenance Engineer. at BURN

About the role.

BURN is seeking to hire an experienced maintenance engineer to join our organization. The ideal person will be responsible for leading a team comprising of maintenance and machining technicians. The engineer will also be responsible for management of equipment life cycle, managing the maintenance cost, lead in equipment installations and commissioning. He/she will also be required to train staff on equipment maintenance and proper operating procedures. Duties and responsibilities.

1. Lead the team comprising maintenance and machining technicians
2. Management of equipment life cycle
3. Managing the maintenance cost
4. Lead in equipment installations and commissioning
5. Develop maintenance procedures and KPIs
6. Conduct and oversee maintenance process audits
7. Lead in Equipment RCA.
8. Ensure equipment run optimally with minimal downtime
9. Training staff on equipment maintenance and proper operating procedures
10. Respond to major breakdowns.
11. Support the maintenance planning and scheduling.
12. Lead maintenance meetings.
13. Report on maintenance KPIs and ensure fast closure of RCAs.

Essential.

1. Strong engineering background in Mechanical and Electrical field
2. Problem solver will be the lead person in RCA.
3. Experience with tooling, presses and spot-welding technology.
4. Leadership mentality.

Desired.

1. Sheet metal background, knowledgeable in tooling and fixture.
2. CAD/CAM experience especially on tool path generation.
3. Hands on.
4. Experience in laser cutting and CNC milling.
