ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Non-negotiable Experience/Skill-set: Some experience with Industrial & Scientific Products and a substantial understanding of the mechanics/utilization/specifications of Industrial & Scientific products/equipment as showcased on our e-store https://shopit.co.ke/ (Generators, Batteries, Solar, Tools, Safety, Chemicals, and Automotive).

• Consistent engagement with Industrial and Scientific products/equipment in the market and as per customer requests/needs.
• Merchandising/Sourcing for Industrial and Scientific products/equipment.
• Up-to-date on trends and market analysis on Industrial and Scientific products/equipment.
• Ensure effective merchandising and cataloging of Industrial and Scientific products/equipment.
• Offer technical customer service and sales support for Industrial and Scientific products/equipment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Industrial Equipment/Engineering, Industrial Chemicals, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably have experience in technical product(s) merchandising, and technical customer service and sales with Industrial and Scientific products/equipment.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service and customer care skills
• Experience in the Industrial and Scientific industry with IT, Retail, or e-Business industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and proactively influence others.
• Passion/Interest in the Industrial and Scientific products/equipment.
• Must have a substantial understanding of the specifications and utilization of a large range of Industrial and Scientific products/equipment.
