Network Security Engineer at Next Group Solutions Ltd

Role Description

• As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to protect our clients' networks and data.
• Your primary focus will be on firewalls, Network Access Control (NAC), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and overall network security, with a strong emphasis on Fortinet products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage firewalls, NAC, WAF, IPS, and other security systems.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect network infrastructure.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
• Provide technical support and guidance on security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, etc.).
• Strong understanding of firewalls, NAC, WAF, IPS, and networking principles.
• Experience with network security protocols and practices.
• Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, CEH, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with other security technologies and vendors.
