    Procurement Assistant

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team at Homes Universal, a diverse conglomerate group operating in real estate, homes expos, pharmaceuticals, security, commodity trading, and various other sectors. The ideal candidate will support our procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the acquisition of goods and services to meet the organization's needs efficiently and cost-effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations.
    • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts.
    • Coordinate with vendors to resolve any supply chain issues.
    • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.
    • Support in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.

    Experience:

    • Prior experience in a procurement or purchasing role preferred.
    • Familiarity with procurement software or tools is a plus.

    Expertise:

    • Understanding of supply chain management principles.
    • Knowledge of contract negotiation and vendor management.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed procurement decisions.

    Education and Training:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Procurement or purchasing certifications are advantageous.
