    Project Management Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    Functional

    • Develop and implements strategic objectives, scope, and deliverables for all strategic projects.
    • Develop, maintain, and manage a comprehensive project schedule.
    • Develop and maintain project risk, issues, actions, decisions logs and project reporting.
    • Estimate the strategic program/project resource levels (With Stakeholders input) required to successfully achieve the project goals.
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and support contingency planning.
    • Collaborate in the planning of project management training workshops.
    • Monitoring the processes and development of all the strategic projects
    • Champions change and effectively manages the implementation of new ideas.
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
    • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Report and escalate to management as needed.
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

    Financial

    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
    • Ensure there are as few Change Requests as possible
    • Ensure all assigned contracts renewals are initiated in a timely manner with procurement and in a cost-effective manner.

    Customer

    • Reinforces team approach throughout practice both on client projects and internal initiatives.
    • Supports and solicits input from team members at all levels within the organization.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
    • Grows long-term relationships with strategic partners to foster future partnership opportunities.

    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
    • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
    • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
    • Adherence to TAT’s and SLA’s

    Internal Business Process

    • Prepare internal memos for approval circulation
    • Invoice tracking
    • Adhere to the Change Approval Board process
    • Prepare and circulate contract forwarding checklists for approvals
    • Full adherence to PM processes for all project phases starting initiation to closure for all assigned projects
    • Continuous Improvement of related PMO Processes - which includes Reviewing Existing PM Processes to Streamline and Revamp
    • Adherence to governance (audit and risk ratings)
    • Ensure that requirements management and change management processes are effectively utilized to avoid scope creeps.

    Requirements

    Academic

    • Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree with 3+ years’ experience in a technical project environment.

    Professional Qualifications & Experience

    • Project Management certifications are preferred (APM, PMI, Scrum, PRINCE2, ITIL etc.)
    • At least 3 years’ experience in business analysis
