Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of inspections performed by our team. This role involves assessing the accuracy and thoroughness of inspections, ensuring compliance with company standards, and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality standards in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct inspections of work performed by team members to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications.
  • Result: Inspections meet company standards, and areas needing improvement are identified and addressed.
•  Monitor and evaluate inspection reports and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Result: All inspection reports are accurate and complete, supporting high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and implement inspection procedures and guidelines to enhance the quality of inspections.
  • Result: Effective procedures are in place, ensuring consistent and reliable inspection practices.
• Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement based on inspection data and feedback.
  • Result: Trends are identified, and actionable recommendations are made for improving inspection processes.
• Inspection Approval for the Inspection teams - that ensures high quality and accuracy in our inspection reports.
  • Result: Inspections are approved within 24 hours and the reports reflect accurate diagnoses of vehicles.

Training & Development:

• Provide training and support to inspection teams to ensure they understand and follow quality standards and procedures.
  • Result: Team members are well-trained, leading to consistent and high-quality inspections.
• Create and deliver training programs and materials to address identified knowledge gaps and improve inspection skills.
  • Result: Training programs enhance the team’s performance and adherence to quality standards.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and present detailed reports on inspection findings, quality metrics, and areas for improvement to senior management.
  • Result: Regular reports provide insights into inspection quality and highlight areas for development.
• Use data-driven insights to recommend changes and improvements to inspection processes and procedures.
  • Result: Data is leveraged to drive continuous improvement in inspection quality.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection roles, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proven experience with inspection tools and methodologies, with a strong understanding of quality management principles.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office and inspection management software.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
