Relationship Officer – Metropolis at CIC Insurance

PURPOSE:

To generate revenues from intermediary and client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with intermediaries by making sure they receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sourcing of business (new & renewal) and servicing intermediary accounts;
2. Constantly updating intermediaries on new and existing products;
3. Recruit, train, motivate and retain new and existing intermediaries for business growth;
4. Liaising with the various departments to ensure timely service delivery to intermediaries;
5. Preparations of quotations and tenders for delivery to clients and intermediaries;
6. Collect market intelligence and prepare reports on products and services;
7. Ensure compliance to the credit control policy through debt collection
8. Promoting CIC brand;
9. Ensure all intermediaries trading with CIC are licensed in accordance with IRA guidelines

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Academic Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or in a related field

Experience

1. Up to three (3) years’ relevant experience
