Sales and Marketing Officer at GDC SACCO Society Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Marketing: Actively promote and sell SACCO products and services, including savings accounts, loan products, and membership packages, to potential clients.
• Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing members, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Market Research: Identify and target potential markets and customers within the designated area, staying informed on competitor activities.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, providing feedback on market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for new products.
• Member Education: Educate potential members about the benefits of joining the SACCO and how our products and services can meet their financial needs.
• Any other duty as may be assigned

Qualifications

• Education: A diploma or degree in Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous one-year experience in direct sales, preferably in financial services, banking, or a similar industry.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for sales and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer and CRM systems usage.
• Knowledge of the local market and community.
