Strategy & Operations Manager at Bolt

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Improving operations: Scale and optimize country operations by reviewing current workflows and defining new ones. Oversee merchant operations, onboarding, and content quality. Solve complex problems, including pricing optimization, fraud reduction, refund optimization, and ensuring timely delivery to bring savings and drive order growth.
• Financial Analysis & Modeling: Provide advanced financial analysis and modeling across all parts of the balance sheet, including assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses. Develop and implement financial models to simulate the impact of different strategies on the company’s financial performance. Automate and standardize processes to decrease operational costs and improve efficiency.
• Strategic Planning & Decision-Making: Support the General Manager by providing data-driven insights and financial models to guide complex financial decisions. Identify and recommend strategies to optimize financial performance, focusing on a balanced approach that considers both growth and cost management.
• Own and Deliver Key Operational Metrics: Ensure the achievement of country targets through operational excellence and overall performance. Proactively report progress and KPIs in a timely manner.
• Team and Stakeholders Management: Manage the operations team in the market and coordinate with other departments and third-party providers to enhance operational efficiency. Foster strong collaboration within local teams, the central team, and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery and achievement of KPIs.
• Project Management: Identify and resolve the most challenging issues in-country operations by working closely with other teams. Manage local projects to ensure alignment with General Manager.

About you:

• You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
• You have several years of experience in operations, consultancy, business development, or analytics, with exposure to financial modeling, strategic planning, and team management.
• You are a strategic thinker with advanced data analysis and financial modeling skills. You are adept at solving complex problems and analyzing large datasets to drive business insights.
• You are a self-starter who proactively finds solutions to business challenges and takes ownership of projects from start to finish.
• You are able to work optimally in a matrix environment driving cross-functional collaboration with excellent organizational and project management skills.
• You excel in a matrix environment, driving cross-functional collaboration with strong organizational and project management skills. You have excellent communication and writing skills in English.
