    Study Nurse, E-Motive Research Project

    REF - AD/6/59/22 

    The Position

    The project operations are distributed nationwide and this position will be placed in Coast region.

    Job specifications

    • An applicant must have KCSE or its equivalent qualification with a pass in English.
    • He/she must also be qualified as Kenya Registered Nurse/Midwife OR Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse OR have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
    • He/she should have at least one (1) year working experience post qualification in a busy maternity unit.
    • He/she should have basic computer knowledge particularly in Microsoft Office applications and good IT skills.
    • Training and experience in research will be an added advantage.

    Job description

    The successful candidate will be expected to:

    • Screen and enroll eligible participants in the study and ensure proper administration of consent procedures.
    • He/she will also administer screening and enrollment questionnaire to the participants
    • Ensure data is collected accurately and resolve discrepancies
    • Participate in training study site team members distributed nationwide
    • Prepare weekly monthly and quarterly reports for the study coordinator.

    Terms of appointment

    • This a position whose tenure is seven (7) months contract.
