WTS Energy has launched the WTS Foundation. The foundation envisions East African countries to be among the first to industrialize on renewable energy. To realize this vision, it develops and delivers technical training, establish knowledge hubs for renewable energy technology and skills and foster communities that actively engage with these hubs. Most tangibly connects people with global opportunities in renewable energy.
We are seeking a Operations Manager who will be responsible to write clear, organized, and persuasive proposals for the WTS Foundation. This role will offer you the opportunity to make significant and practical impact. You map and develop relationships with multiple stakeholders from development, private and public sector locally and globally. You will also collaborate with team members to think on creative ways in bringing like-minded types of projects and stakeholders can achieve more together.
For succeeding in this role, you are comfortable with research technical concepts in renewable energy and are enthusiastic about translating these into practical impact. You have a good grasp of fundraising methods and are familiar with the non-profit stakeholder ecosystem that is active in sub- Saharan Africa.
