    B2C Sales Activator

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform sales activations in locations as requested by the Company’s Team leader
    • Have a thorough understanding of the BURN products he/she is selling
    • Perform demos, where possible
    • Follow the customer screening and registration process wholly
    • Always have a positive, friendly, and approachable manner with customers
    • Keep time, meet deadlines, and maintain proper decorum when dealing with customers.
    • Attend training and meetings in BURN offices as requested
    • Account for every company expense incurred in providing these services

    Assistant Facilities Manager (Ruiru)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Continuously work on maintenance and improvement of buildings schedule and supervise repair works and assist with checking installations for building equipment.
    • Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly Oversee security of buildings and grounds
    • Ensure compliance with Government Regulations. Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness Overseeing building projects, renovations, or refurbishments
    • Oversee Security of the Buildings and company grounds
    • Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and team Overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies, determining and scheduling repairs or renovation projects, and coordinating safety inspections.

    Maintenance Planner and Scheduler (Ruiru)

    About The Role

    BURN is looking for a maintenance planner and scheduler who will be responsible for: -

    • Making sure preventive maintenance is planned and ensure that
    • Schedule maintenance in a way that minimizes equipment downtime and impact on production.
    • Analyze machine breakdowns and revise/improve preventive maintenance job scope.
       

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain an updated list of all machines in the factory.
    • Develop preventive maintenance work scope and details of what needs to be done, when and how for all machines.
    • Develop preventive maintenance schedules for all machines divided into daily, weekly, monthly, annual and any other time or condition-based maintenance, including plant-wide maintenance shutdown.
    • Develop and document job plans for preventive maintenance work and ensure jobs are ready to be executed right first time.
    • Raise preventive maintenance work orders and get required approval and coordinate with maintenance supervisor and technicians.
    • Ensure spare parts required for preventive maintenance are available before the planned maintenance is started and stage the spare parts when needed.
    • Work with the production function to schedule maintenance and ensure there is no conflict with production priorities and facilitate appropriate scheduling meetings.
    • Manage work orders, documentation, and assets within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
    • Coordinate rebuilding of spare machines.
    • Maintain technical knowledge center – machine manuals, set-up manuals, machine history, Develop and update SOPs for all maintenance work.
    • Track maintenance planning KPIs - Job Plan Accuracy, Wrench Time, PM Compliance, Schedule Adherence.
    • Any other duties are directed by the supervisor.

    Skills And Experience

    Essential:

    • Degree in engineering
    • Must have worked in a busy factory for a minimum of 2 years as a product operator/production supervisor/maintenance technician/ maintenance engineer/research and development engineer
    • Must have led teams and coordinated cross-functional teams

    Software Developer Intern

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Work across client and backend software as necessary to develop and test platforms for BURN’s products.
    • Design and test UI/UX with target customers.
    • Customize application (web and mobile) solutions to meet user needs.
    • Maintain AWS and other cloud-based solutions.
    • Carefully document any development work with class diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, flowcharts, and activity diagrams.

    Essential

    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or similar, or work experience and portfolio.
    • 1+ years of software development experience.
    • Knowledge and experience of software development life cycle.
    • Ability to work in a team setting.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, in English.
    • Communicate effectively in a team setting.
    • Work quickly, reliably, and meet deadlines.

    Desirable:

    • Experience with customizing solutions especially CRM and PAYG solutions.
    • Experience with creating data warehouses and designing databases.
    • Experience in designing and deploying AWS services.
