    Project Management Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Helping in the preparation of project costs for turnkey projects or for quotation purposes
    • Conducting an internal kick off once a new project has gone through
    • Ensuring that both overseas and local orders for the project items have been placed by the procurement team
    • for those items that are not in stock
    • For turnkey projects, agreeing with the subcontractor when they will need to mobilize to site
    • Communicating with the client on their readiness before the project kicks off
    • Track project deliverables and presenting reports defining project progress, problems, solutions and ensuring
    • that project cost remains within budget.
    • Flag and report any irregularities, delays and/or potential issues to customer and management
    • Managing and communicating to the client any scope change orders that are made on the project
    • Communicating with clients and any other stakeholder in the various stages of the project implementation
    • Ensuring that all the items in BOQ has been supplied to the project
    • Checking the WIP to confirm that costs associated with a project are true
    • Confirming the payments that are to be made to the sub-contractors
    • Planning and scheduling team meetings to discuss project progress and issues and the way forward
    • Creating a quote and adding a BOQ to it
    • Opening up a project job number through which the project materials will be issued out
    • Setting up a billing schedule that credit control will use to raise invoices
    • Closing projects through revenue recognition in Epicor
    • Coming up with the weekly project report to show status of the ongoing projects
    • Preparing the monthly reports for projects that are going to be closed
    • Preparing work plans and progress reports for clients

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Bachelor’s degree in any course plus certification in Project management
    • Min 3 years’ experience in Project Management
    • Experience in the use of MS Projects software
    • Experience in managing 10-15 field technicians
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Excellent reporting skills
    • Valid driver’s license

    Electrician / Automation Technician

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Undertake installation (on-site) and assembly (at Amiran) of Electrical and digital farming products
    • Undertake repairs (at Amiran or on-site) for various electrical products like pumps, digital farming products,
    • various filtration units, air valve products and various hydraulic valves, etc.
    • Help PMO plan for installations and repairs
    • Use Zoho platform to log all farm visits
    • Be responsible for tools required for job, equipment, vehicle, time management.
    • Liaise with Sales Department, Supervisor, PMO and Manager regarding work plan.
    • Assist with technical input regarding commissioning and training documentation
    • Conduct on-site commissioning of technical products and group training to end-users
    • Provide consultancy on the use of electrical and technical equipment
    • Troubleshooting (to end-users)
    • All technical products and Digital farming solutions
    • Provide telephonic/on-site/face-to-face consultancy and technical advice to Amiran staff and end-users
    • Assist Supervisor with setting up of SOP’s for best practice adherence.
    • Undertake monthly services as per the work schedule.
    • Make sure that all systems operate efficiently by:
      • Ensuring entire irrigation system is operational
      • Making sure that infield system pressures are set properly
      • Fertigation equipment are calibrated and operating well
      • Farm staff maintain good housekeeping and daily, weekly and monthly maintenance are adhered to.
      • Regular customer training and retraining is done.
    • Any other assigned duty by management

    Requirements:

    • Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics
    • Experience in agricultural automation is an added advantage
    • At least 5 years’ experience as an electrician
    • Electrician qualified in 3 phase
    • Experience with VSDs
    • Valid driver’s license
