    Service Advisor

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Advisor at TMD Kenya's Thika branch. The Service Advisor will be responsible for providing customer-focused service by ensuring customer satisfaction, handling customer inquiries, and managing the aftersales process. Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset are essential for this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Scheduling service appointments for customers.
    • Act as the Interface between customers and service technicians to coordinate preparation of repair estimate, create vehicle repair orders and maintenance for authorization through the application of the ERP.
    • Perform joint inspection of vehicles with customers both exterior and interior then accurately capture all customer’s issues and vehicle information in the ERP system and as per Aftersales policy & SOP.
    • Coordinate on the need for repairs and maintenance by relying on information relayed by technicians, by questioning customers thoughtfully, and by researching vehicle history and relevant vehicle database information; then provide a job order to workshop controller.
    • Co-ordinate preparation of repair estimates, send to customers and follow-up for work approval. The approval shall be by a signed pro-forma invoice or written email by the customer or an authorized representative of the customer.
    • Ensure customer vehicle maintenance is satisfactorily completed on time and details for customer services rendered and costs for those services invoiced appropriately, ensuring satisfaction at every step of interaction.
    • Ensure that a minimum of of 5 job cards per day are opened, closed and invoiced within the timelines as agreed with the customer.
    • Ensure that a target minimum of 20 customers per day (S3 and S4) are contacted and feedback documented in the shared reporting template.
    • Respond to and resolve Isuzu Contact Centre CRM trouble tickets (customer escalations) within the expected timelines.
    • Provide daily reports of customers contacted, job cards pending invoicing, WIP updates and any other reports as required by the supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Automotive Engineering (Module 1,2,3)
    • KCSE, minimum of C- plain.
    • Ability to work extended hours and weekends when required.
    • Isuzu certification as required.
    • Customer Service, Customer-focused Service, and Customer Satisfaction skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience in aftersales services
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work well in a team
    • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus
    • Degree or diploma in a relevant field

    Warehouse Assistant

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time role for a Warehouse Assistant at TMD Kenya's Thika location. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for packing, inventory control, forklift operation, inventory management, and providing excellent customer service.

    Responsibilities

    • In liaison with the Warehouse Controller, you will generate weekly stock holding report for analysis and effective coordination of stock level control.
    • Provide service to customers who visit the service shop to purchase parts and perform picking of parts correctly identifying the part number of the part required by the customer.
    • Preparation of regular reports of the following nature; stock levels, parts sales, parts movements.
    • Preparation of parts purchases requirements and seeking approvals before forwarding to procurement officer in line with the Company demands.
    • Receiving of parts from suppliers in the warehouse and confirming that the supplied is as per the initial company request.
    • Participate in stoke take and address all stock variations within the shortest time possible.
    • Ensure compliance to stock control process SOP, After-sales Policy @ 5s guidelines
    • Ensure binning of received parts into their correct bin location.

    Qualifications

    • Accounting & Finance diploma is required.
    • Professional course is an added advantage (e.g., CPA)
    • Two years experience in Warehouse management Packing, Inventory Control, and Inventory Management skills
    • Experience in forklift operation
    • Customer service skills
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
    • Experience in warehouse or logistics operations is a plus
    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Warehouse Administrator

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Administrator at TMD Kenya, located in Thika. The Warehouse Administrator will be responsible for stock control, inventory control, communication, customer service, and inventory management.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate stock records at all times ensuring real time match of physical stock vs ERP records
    • To provide weekly report on Stock holding & stock movement in the warehouse for analysis and effective implementation of stock level controls so as to support minimal cases of stock variances and stock outs.
    • Liaise with Service Advisors, procurement officer, Parts Assistants and Parts sales for timely issuance of requested parts
    • Ensure proper arrangement of parts into their respective bins
    • Oversee storage of parts particularly fragile items
    • Provide a monthly report on the Stores requirements and operational expenditure so as to ensure the warehousing is operating optimally.
    • Ensure compliance to stock control processes, SOP, After-sales policy and 5S guidelines.
    • Planning and execution of regular stock take/stock audit (spot check) to ascertain stock accuracy that no variances occur, highlight any anomalies
    • Effectively put in requests for purchase of items in view of lead time.
    • Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store in terms of availability of requested parts and issuance turn around.
    • In charge of closure of any nonconformity raised to warehouse.
    • Monitor dead/dormant inventory and handle them as per the Disposal Management policy at all times.

    Qualifications

    • Accounting & Finance Bachelor’s Degree.
    • A diploma in an automotive related course is an added advantage
    • Proven experience of three years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably within an automotive environment.
    • Stock Control and Inventory Control skills
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Inventory management experience
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in inventory management software
    • Knowledge of automotive industry and spare parts is a plus
    • High school diploma or equivalent
