    Finance Intern

    Job Description

    Accounts Payable and Receivable:

    • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
    • Prepare and send customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.

    Bank Reconciliation:

    • Reconcile bank statements with the company’s financial records regularly.
    • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Financial Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

    General Ledger Maintenance:

    • Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
    • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
    • Expense Management:
    • Process employee expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Monitor and reconcile company credit card transactions.

    Payroll Support:

    • Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of salaries.
    • Maintain payroll records and handle related queries.

    Administrative Support:

    • Provide administrative support to the Finance department as needed.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial documents and reports for audits.

    Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    • Assist in preparing documents for external audits and regulatory reporting.

    Ad Hoc Tasks:

    Undertake other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 months- 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance internship.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Certifications:
    • Relevant certifications such as AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) or similar are desirable but not required.

    Responsibilities

    •  Analyze competitive landscapes to determine areas for differentiation and market positioning.
    • Generate leads through various channels, including referrals, online platforms, and cold outreach.
    • Qualify leads based on client requirements and property preferences.
    • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
    • Present property offerings and investment opportunities to clients in a persuasive and informative manner.
    • Negotiate and close deals to maximize revenue and profitability.
    • Collaborate with real estate brokers, property developers, and other industry professionals.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and developments that could impact the real estate market.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to adapt business strategies accordingly.
    • Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and sales activities using CRM software.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations to showcase progress, achievements, and challenges.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field (Marketing is preferable)
    • From 2-4 Years proven work experience in the same position 
    • Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics, investment strategies, and industry trends.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office and other sales tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Passionate about influencing and promoting ideas 
    • English Fluency is a must
