    Head of Finance

    • We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to oversee our financial operations and drive financial excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, tax and compliance, and financial planning and analysis functions.

    Responsibilities:

    Financial reporting:

    • Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with Accounting Standards regulatory requirements, and internal policies
    • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations and financial statement reviews.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and business strategy.
    • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's objectives and growth initiatives.
    • Represent the finance function in meetings with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

    Tax & Compliance:

    • Manage all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax.
    • Stay current on tax laws and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
    • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to support tax audits and examinations.
    • Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

    Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes, including budgeting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and department heads to support decision-making and drive performance improvement.
    • Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance metrics tracking to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Drive process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, plus CPA certified.
    • 5 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a strong background in financial reporting, tax, and financial planning and analysis.
    • Thorough understanding of Accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive change and innovation.
    • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Reconciliation Specialist

    About the role:

    • As a Reconciliation Specialist, you will spearhead customer onboarding initiatives, utilizing your technical proficiency to implement and configure our reconciliation solutions. This position demands an in-depth understanding of the reconciliation industry and a demonstrated history of success in technical implementation roles.

    Responsibilities

    System Accuracy and Timeliness:

    • Collaborate with on-call engineers to review and enhance the reconciliation system's functionality.
    • Ensure the reconciliation system consistently delivers accurate and timely reports, particularly for card payments and chargebacks.

    Technical Support:

    • Provide support to the customer success team and on-call engineers, focusing on card payment reconciliation.
    • Triage and troubleshoot bugs and other system-related issues related to card payments.

    Product Management Support:

    • Assist the product manager in gathering product requirements related to card payment reconciliation.
    • Contribute to the onboarding process for new clients utilizing the reconciliation product, with a focus on card payments.

    Quality Assurance and Training:

    • Collaborate with the quality assurance lead in conducting User Acceptance Tests (UATs) specific to card payments.
    • Support the product manager in organizing customer training sessions on card payment reconciliation.
    • Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of our reconciliation products, emphasizing card payment accuracy.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Undertake any additional tasks assigned by your manager.
    • Maintain clear and open communication with cross-functional teams

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an Implementation Software Engineer or in a similar technical implementation role within the Fintech reconciliation industry.
    • Strong proficiency in Python, JSON, and Javascript.
    • In-depth understanding of financial reconciliation processes and technologies.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for varied audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
