    HR Business Partner – Africa

    About the role:

    The HR Business Partner is responsible for partnering with the business leaders, COE and Associate Services in building the Business Unit capabilities for driving sustainable, profitable business growth. Through HR thought leadership, s/he is responsible for building a BU culture and operating environment that is conducive to attracting, developing and retaining – the “Best in Class” talent.

    What You will Do for us:

    • Responsible for partnering with the OU (Operating Unit) Leaders and extended community by facilitating the wiring of the new network organization.
    • Acts as coach and trusted advisor for the leadership team in order to improve leadership inspiration, organizational effectiveness, leading change, organization design and building capabilities.
    • Directly responsible of the global, regional and local implementation of our people strategy and people scorecard, leverage on the Company Purpose, Leadership Definition & Growth Behaviors.
    • Co-accountable of the end-to-end Talent, Learning and Rewards global processes in partnership with the Africa OU Talent & Capabilities and Total Rewards teams.
    • Direct responsible of the continues evolution of our Diversity and Inclusion strategy, practices and targets.
    • Partners with People Services to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of our HR systems, processes, policies, procedures, plans, and programs are in place and effectively utilized.
    • Co-lead the Talent Resource Allocation for agile projects in the new network organization, aiming to accelerate career and development experiences.
    • Responsible to continue building People Management capabilities through current processes (eg Employee Experience, PE, Wellbeing, Rewards & Recognition, Engagement, etc).
    • Dedicate 50% of their availability to participate on Dynamic Resourcing and Agile Africa initiatives.

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree in HR or related field

    Related Work Experience:

    • 12+ years of Human Resources experience, Consulting, Organizational Development and Talent Management in a multinational company.
    • Support leaders to drive high engagement and high-performance environment.
    • Master business and people decision making through a data and fact-based approach.
    • Ability/experience in development of business strategies, preferably in HR.
    • Experience in the development and managing projects and create executive business cases.
    • Ability to manage diverse and multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization and multicultural environment.
    • Ability to understand, balance, prioritize and develop compelling approaches to best meet the needs of the business.

    Senior Frontline Marketing Manager

    What You’ll Do For Us

    • Manage the marketing plans and integration of plans in country/region with the relevant bottler. Also integrate plans with local commercial strategies together with Franchise team and bottler (objectives, investments, tracking execution and success metrics, activity calendars, including Innovation projects and Integrated Marketing Campaigns).
    • Provide input on regional brand plans (activities, calendars, execution of allocated Direct Marketing Expenditure) and local innovation opportunities
    • Co-create on development of market-level innovation projects and provide market input for Operating Unit led Integrated Marketing campaigns (as applicable)
    • Oversee localization and real-time amplification of Integrated Marketing campaigns within the country/region, providing input to relevant Integrated Marketing team
    • Manage brand activation at the local level, including activations, consumer promotions, experiential marketing and events (leveraging mkt assets), in coordination with bottlers
    • Lead country/region marketing preparation and participation in key business System Review meetings. Support coordination of Franchise routines together with Franchise Managers
    • Work closely with Platform services to ensure timely procurement process management and compliance related to brand activations
    • Key marketing representative of respective country/region with the overall responsibility for the local relevance, alignment and implementation of marketing plans. Work closely with Franchise team, Bottlers and collaborate across all functions to deliver the plan as measured by volume, share and profit

    Role Requirement

    • 10 years of significant marketing and leadership experience
    • Bachelors degree
    • Direct experience with marketing activation
    • Business and commercial acumen.
    • Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is preferred
    • Ability to provide nuanced country/regional level input on marketing strategy and plans (e.g. consumer / shopper insights)
    • Ability to develop relationships with key bottlers and ensure alignment and buy-in on mkt agenda
    • Ability to coordinate full details (calendars, resources, metrics) of local activation with Bottlers
    • Ability to identify needs for campaign localization or customization as necessary
    • Ability to provide input on media buying (in partnership with Marketing procurement), as necessary

    Process Artisan Electrical

    Job Description    

    Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent.  CCBA is a market leader in the NARTD non-alcoholic ready to drink market in Africa. CCBA has an extensive footprint in Africa, employing approximately 14 000 employees in Africa, and approximately 7 000 employees in South Africa. The purpose of this role is to ensure the safe guarding of company assets & inventory whilst minimizing risk, fraud and losses through ensuring compliance to stock management and control processes and procedures. 

    Key Purpose Statement

    The primary role of the Process Artisan is operation of the process area according to work instructions, the execution of non-destructive quality checks and carrying out of routine maintenance. The process artisan has a primary focus on the asset care activities of the team.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Operational Support

    • Providing support to the shift based teams during operations.
    • Attending SBT and SBU meetings and ensures that the previous day’s actions have been actioned.
    • Assisting shift based teams with situational problem solving.
    • Coaching the shift based teams on machine operation, machine fault finding and correct responses to machine failure modes.
    • Providing coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer of machine operation and maintenance to shift based teams.
    • Reviewing SIC’s and address deviations regularly.
    • Developing work instructions related to equipment.
    • Monitoring and managing performance of equipment.
    • Verifying and ensuring that machines are running at rated speed.
    • Preparing and communicating shift handover reports to ensure production continuity.
    • Participating in technical meetings and escalating issues that could not be resolved during the shift and following up to ensure gap closure.
    • Standing in for the Production Team Leader where required.

    Planned Maintenance

    • Carrying out work during the planned maintenance window in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule issued by the Planner.
    • Assisting fellow team members in the execution of their tasks during planned maintenance windows.
    • Where required, partaking in maintenance post mortems to feedback problems, opportunities and learning’s from maintenance activities.
    • Optimising of the maintenance schedules.
    • Coaching and training operators on autonomous maintenance tasks.
    • Reviewing line KPI’s to ensure that maintenance work is yielding the right results.

    Routine Maintenance

    • Partaking in cleaning, lubrication and inspection in accordance with the maintenance schedule issued by the Maintenance Planner.
    • Carrying out routine maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
    • Where problems have been uncovered during routine maintenance, these must be resolved using the appropriate problem solving techniques.
    • Where problems have been uncovered, and it is required to include the work in the planned maintenance schedule, this must be communicated to the maintenance planner.

    Running Repairs

    • Carrying out running repairs on plant and equipment.
    • When carrying out repairs, assess the problem and determine a course of action.
    • Where running repairs cannot be carried out, communicates this to the Team Leader / Maintenance Planner to ensure the work is planned into the next planned maintenance window.

    Problem Solving

    • Applying the correct problem solving methodologies to resolve problems.
    • Coaching operators on situational problem solving.
    • Soliciting support for problems solving or escalate to the Team for direction.
    • Where required, partake in systemic problem solving.

    Housekeeping and safety

    • Working in a safe manner at all times, and to identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these may be corrected.
    • Adhering to appropriate CCBA policies and procedures.
    • Carrying out housekeeping tasks, and apply 5S principles during the execution of duties.

    Support NPD implementation and trials:

    • Supporting NPD trials to be able to run on assets.
    • Ensuring adherence to NPD procedures.
    • Ensuring all changes on assets are well documented as per the Engineering Change Management business processes.

    Training and Development

    • Training and coaching operators on asset care and autonomous maintenance practices.
    • Where required; signing-off operators on autonomous maintenance tasks.
    • Developing operational and technical standards and work instructions.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Requirement

    • Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

    Experience
    Work Experience

    • Minimum 2 years in an FMCG, bottling or food processing plant.
    • PLC experience will be an added advantage.

    Specific Experience

    • Minimum 2 years in a similar role or Machine Operator role.

    Housekeeping.

    • Ensuring warehouse is clean and arranged in order after using picking slip.

    Qualifications and Experience
