    Direct Sales Executive

    Job Description

    Our client is looking to hire energetic and self-driven Direct Sales Executives for its factory plant in Nairobi outlet.

    Under the direct supervision of the Lead Sales Coordinator, the incumbent will be supporting the Sales and Marketing team in closing sales.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct site visits and generates sales leads. 
    • Provide detailed & accurate product/service information to customers to enable them to make informed purchase decisions.
    • Prepare sales quotations and upon confirmation of payment, key in customer orders for production.
    • Maintain updated and authorized prices 
    • Keep display area clean, organized and presentable
    • Aggressively drive sales leads from social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
    • Undertaking market intelligence

    Job Requirements:  

    • Diploma in any business-related subject  
    • Minimum 2 years Direct Sales experience 
    • Must have worked in the Manufacturing/Construction Industry
    • Have positive, creative, fun energy that matches that of our team and clients
    • Excellent communication skills.

    Accounts Receivable

    Key Responsibilities

    • Quick and proper allocation of customer receipts into customer accounts maintaining a clean aging statement by customer.
    • Timely posting of customer claims for allowances & discounts and ensuring customers utilize them.
    • Reconciliation of the customer accounts. 
    • The debtors aging analysis report is reviewed weekly and monthly.
    • Follow up on nearing due and past due invoices as per credit policy through email and phone calls.
    • Update weekly cheque collections tracker and ensure all cheques are diligently banked when due.
    • Facilitate collections from overdue accounts. 
    • Maintain accounts receivable files and records.
    • Onboarding of new customers ensuring that all KYC and due diligence is performed.
    • Customer visits.
    • Debt collection; performing follow-ups.
    • Assist in stock take and ensure reconciliation is signed off.

    Requirements

    • Minimum CPA 2
    • 2 years of experience in Accounts receivable in a Manufacturing or Dairy setup is a must. 
    • Experience using Excels 
    • Understanding of Accounting Principles & Standards.
    • Planning and Organizing Skills.
    • Effective Decision Making.
    • Teamwork and strong communication skills.

    Junior Sales Representative

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Set and achieve annual sales targets including, commercial and Industrial installation projects.
    • Develop opportunities within the commercial and industrial sectors for large system installation and programs.
    • Monitor and analyse sales and market trends to develop and implement effective strategic sales plans and actions for both short and long term
    • Develop high brand visibility in East Africa
    • Increase Solar deal network to grow the solar business
    • Implement agreed sales and marketing strategies
    • Track lost business, and start afresh, within a timely service recovery.
    • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new acquisitions with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials.
    • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts integrating contract requirements with business operations.
    • In liaison with the customer’s service coordinator ensure all customer needs are addressed.
    • Understand consumer market needs, behaviour attitudes, consumer needs and advising management on the same.
    • Assist in formulating and implementing annual marketing and sales strategies.
    • Participate in any other duties that shall be reasonably assigned by management.
    • Draw annual sales and marketing budgets for operations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in renewable energy will be an added advantage.
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Highly self-motivated.
