    Infrastructure and Hardware Analyst

    Job Description

    Our client a local manufacturing company in Kenya seeks fo fill the abobe role. The incurmbent will  be tasked with the responsibility of administering all IT assets and infrastructure, ensuring their optimal functionality, and providing support, repairs, and maintenance for desktop and laptop PCs.

    S/He will have a keey role in planning, development, installation, testing, modification, and evaluation of all networks (LANs and WANs) and associated client services. 

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring that all end users have access to network facilities and devices with minimum downtime for their day-to-day operations
    • Ensuring continued operations by IT and end users by having optimal stock of consumables.
    • Preparing and processing company Server room maintenance - Ensure IT servers, routers, firewalls switches are maintained as per policy and kept in a controlled environment.
    • Ensuring that all end users have access to the IT facilities in all sections of the company
    • Ensuring that backups are successfully ran for all applications and user data systems servers on regular basis.
    • Ensuring all servers running on virtual environment are operating without issues.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • At least 3 years of experience supporting LAN/WAN infrastructure, datacenter hardware and software.
    • Organizing deployment of IT equipment, software implementations and user support for local and remote users.
    • Experience in IT assets inventory management.

    Sales Innovations Manager

    Job Summary

    The Sales Innovation Manager is responsible for spearheading innovative sales strategies, managing sales projects, and exploring new business opportunities to enhance market presence and drive revenue growth. This role involves the design and implementation of sales experiments, data analysis, and close collaboration with both the sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Sales Route Testing and Experimentation:

    • Design and conduct experiments to test various sales routes to market.
    • Analyze experiment outcomes to identify the most effective sales approach or model.
    • Analyze results and iterate experiments to validate the consistency and reliability of the experiments.
    • Continuously refine and improve sales routes to market based on data-driven insights.
    • Develop comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations.

    Project Management:

    • Lead and manage multiple sales-related projects from conception through completion.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with overall business goals.
    • Implement continuous improvement processes based on project outcomes.

    Development of Logical Frameworks:

    • Create and implement logical frameworks for sales experiments.
    • Develop structured methodologies for testing and evaluating sales strategies.
    • Ensure experiments are designed to provide clear and actionable insights.
    • Develop tools and templates to support the execution of experiments.

    Business Idea Development:

    • Brainstorm and develop innovative business ideas to enhance sales RTM.
    • Assess the feasibility and potential impact of new business ideas.
    • Present business proposals to senior management with supporting data and analysis.
    • Lead pilot initiatives to test new business concepts and models.

    Modern Trade National Distributor Collaboration:

    • Maintain a strong working relationship with the modern trade national distributor by providing support and monitoring performance to achieve targets.
    • Develop and ensure implementation of joint business plans with Tier 1 and any other relevant Modern Trade outlets, in liaison with Marketing.
    • Ensure company’s representation with Modern Trade customers

    Academic and Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

    Relevant Skills, Experience & Attributes

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales innovation, business development, sales strategy, trade marketing, or a similar role.

    Research Design Expertise:

    • Strong background in research design and experimental methodologies.
    • Ability to design, execute, and analyze experiments effectively.

    Data Interpretation and Decision-Making:

    • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions and provide actionable insights.

    Project Management:

    • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    Innovative Thinking:

    • Creative and innovative mindset to generate new business ideas.
    • Ability to think outside the box and challenge conventional approaches.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

    Trade Marketing Knowledge:

    • In-depth understanding of route to market models and the factors that make them successful.
    • Practical experience in the development and application of different models for different business needs

    Exports:

    • Knowledge of EAC markets and experience in exports business development is an added advantage
