    Investment & Client Services Manager

    Role Purpose

    The role holder will conserve existing business while providing superior service to retirement benefits business clients (deposit administration) in full compliance with the laid down procedures and guidelines as set out in the operations manuals.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Business Growth:
    2. Development and implementation of business growth strategies which is aligned to company strategies.
    3. Conserving existing business through superior client servicing and providing alternative options.
    4. Relationships Management: Building strong business relationships with our existing clients and intermediaries to ensure business retention.
    5. Customer Care: Providing superior services to Retirement Benefits clients. Making regular visits to clients and preparing reports on the client’s needs and current legislations.
    6. Preparation of guaranteed quarterly reports and investment presentations.
    7. Statistical Analysis & Returns: Preparing summary/ statistical reports of the Retirement Benefits schemes as may be required.
    8. Leadership – Mentoring and coaching pension administrators in client servicing and in investment presentations.
    9. Schemes Compliance:
      • Ensure all schemes investment returns are filed before the statutory deadlines.
    10. Work closely with the administrators’ schemes to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements

    Qualifications

    1. in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science or Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting/Marketing or any other related field.
    2. Knowledge of legislation governing Retirement Benefits and Insurance in Kenya

    Relevant Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, 2 of which in a supervisory role.

    Oracle Financial Application Database Administrator

    Main Purpose of the Job (Job Summary)

    The role holder will support and maintain Oracle EBS R12 across multiple instances for production, UAT and development environment. Working knowledge in Oracle EBS 12.X architecture, installation, patching, cloning, backups & recovery, and performance tuning.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Knowledge of online patching of EBS application patches
    • Experience working with WebLogic administration
    • Working knowing on setting up environment on RAC
    • Troubleshooting and resolve issues related to oracle workflows/ integrations /ODI
    • Design and build database, schemes, and database objects
    • Working knowledge of version oracle database 11g/12c/19c
    • Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
    • Setup of disaster recovery site for production environment and monitor of the same
    • Design and implement database security schemas
    • Assist developers and end-users with database usage, query development, and tuning
    • Perform cloning of application and database instances utilizing Oracles Rapid Clone methodology
    • Good exposure on RMAN, ASM, Dataguard, Datapump Utilities.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or any other related field.
    • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
    • Experience in release 11/12
    • Experience in Oracle RAC

    Experience

    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oracle applications database administration
    • Working knowledge in Oracle EBS 12.X architecture, installation, patching, cloning, backups & recovery, and performance tuning.
    • Completed minimum 5 end to end installation on R12.
    • Experience on working with EBS on cloud environment.
    • Experience in recovering application & database in case of any eventuality.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in technology/data roles
    • Experience with relational database systems (MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, Postgres, SAP HANA)
    • Advanced skills in data scripting and database development technologies (SQL, C#, Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, Batch Scripting)
    • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
