    KE - Head of Advertising

    Job description

    • Proactively lead client relationships by leveraging traffic and platform capabilities to drive the client’s business and marketing objectives.
    • Collaborate with Key Accounts brands and their partners to develop clear business objectives, high impact digital marketing programs and measurement of those programs.
    • Manage projects across cross-functional teams and with the client to ensure successful delivery of those programs.
    • Present findings and results to Key Accounts Client Executives.
    • Act as a knowledgeable industry leader in online marketing, analytics, and targeting.
    • Improve and share project management processes, standards, templates and best practices both internally and with client teams.
    • Maximize revenue inflow from these client accounts.
    • Attain monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets related to your client account portfolio.
    • Actively identify and pursue new advertising client accounts.
    • Conceptualize, verbalize, document, test, propose and present new online revenue generating opportunities in consultation with CMO.
    • Use web analytics tools to analyse site traffic and user demographics in support of online campaign proposals and client presentations.
    • Source, execute, optimise and evaluate all elements of each media campaign. Be the bridge from strategy to execution.
    • Set up all measurement metrics and KPIs for each campaign.
    • Provide key learnings reports quarterly with recommendations for future plans.
    • Collaborate with brand teams to develop required content plans for digital media plans.
    • Understand the media landscape and look for opportunities to impact media plans with new partners and formats that could improve media performance.

    Job requirments

    • An advertising / marketing or related qualification will be advantageous.
    • Interest in delivering and supporting Jumia in a client-facing role.
    • Ability to excel in team environments.
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
    • Passionate about advertising, marketing, data, analytics and technology.
    • Minimum of 2+ years with agency experience.
    • Minimum of 4+ years digital advertising sales.
    • Interest in client-side positions and digital marketing initiatives.
    • Must be able to balance a creative and business approach.
    • Must be passionate about online advertising and marketing.
    • The ability to create and maintain good relationships with client accounts.
    • Able to identify and realize revenue opportunities related to online advertising.

    Central - Business Product Head for Ops

    What you will be doing

    • You will assist in developing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for building the product suite of Jumia  in concert with cross-functional peers, in order to improve both customers & vendors’ experience.
    • You will support in developing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to extend our current Sprinklr  product to support our Jumia Customer and Vendor Experience tools.
    • You’ll become an authority on your product area and identify customer needs and business opportunities through a combination of user research, collecting feedback from cross-functional teammates, diving into data, and competitive analysis.
    • As part of the Central Operations team, You’ll work with Vendor and Customer Experience teams, as well as Vendor and Customer Service teams to understand the current use of existing products,  define and prioritize the  requested improvements.
    • You’ll own features and experiments end-to-end, including writing product specs, driving cross-functional execution, making thoughtful product decisions along the way, and sharing insights and results throughout the company.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Own the Operations Products strategy & roadmap, ensuring the most impactful improvements are prioritized in order to improve both customers & vendors’ experience on Jumia. 
    •  Be in constant contact with Products & Tech teams to ensure improvement requests are clearly scoped and moving forward as per the timeline agreed upon Backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
    • Assist in leading the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
    • Be the main point of contact on Jumia side in our partnership with Sprinklr, coordinating both bug fixes and enhancement releases

    Requirements:

    • 3-5 years experience working as a Product Owner in a technology environment would be a preference
    • CRM  experience (Sprinklr, SalesForce, etc.) would be highly appreciated
    • Solid Agile experience
    • Understanding of technology, language and applications
    • Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and the business teams
    • Experience supporting/rolling out initiatives to commercial teams
    • Experience with demand generation, account/territory
