    Maintenance Technician

    Key Qualifications
    Professional Qualifications and Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    • Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
    • Well-versed in technical, electrical and engineering operations and facilities management
    • Experience in Plumbing & Carpentry will be an added advantage.
    • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
    • Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

    Key Duties

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for:

    • Perform scheduled and random Club Inspection for well facilities operation and identify any equipment/facility that requires service or repair.
    • Determine materials, equipment and supplies to be used in repair and maintenance.
    • Coordinate all repairs and maintenance in the club.
    • Ensure all scheduled services for specific facilities e.g. gas cookers, gym equipment are timely done.
    • Participate in carrying out general repairs in the Club.
    • Inspect wiring, repair pipes, troubleshoot equipment, replace light bulbs and install new equipment.
    • Coordinate and supervise work being done by contractors in the Department.
    • Report repairs and scheduled maintenance carried out on weekly and monthly basis to the Club Manager.
    • Raise materials requisitions and assist in getting the right ones.
    • Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
    • Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
    • Report any incident or matter that can pose as a threat or hazard to the Club.
    •  Maintain a neat, clean and safe working condition

    Internal Security Officer

    Impala Club is seeking a highly skilled & experienced Internal Security Personnel to provide overall security within the Club.

    The ideal candidate will be a Kenyan citizen who has the following Key Qualifications

    Professional Qualifications and Experience

    • Certificate/ diploma in criminology and security management, or any other related field.
    • Membership of relevant security professional body, training in any security field is an added advantage
    • Excellent knowledge of security protocols
    • Proficiency in computer applications
    • Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

    Key Duties and deliverables

    • Prepare Incidents reports as they occur and compile a weekly report to be shared with the General Manager
    • Plan, direct and coordinate security activities to safeguard Club’s assets, employees, Members and guests.
    • Evaluate and analyze security operations to identify risks or opportunity for improvement including events.
    • Ensure registration of non-member at the entrance.
    • Inspect the registration books to check on the signed in members and other anomalies and submit to the Club Manager.
    • Security background of members to ensure they meet the criteria of membership.
    • Identify, investigate and/or resolve any security breaches.
    • Investigate losses or violation of regulations, policies and procedures
    • Liaise with Police when required.
    • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling regularly, monitoring surveillance equipment and all access points.
    • Monitoring and analyzing the CCTV camera footage
    • Responding to alarms and investigations disturbances to prevent potential security breaches.
    • Participate in developing, implementing and monitoring security strategies, policies and standards in line with the objectives of the club.
    • Work with board or disciplinary committee to handle security matters.
    • Liaise with the Security Company outsourced for smooth operations
    • In-charge of staff inspection at exit and reporting on the incidents.
    • Prepare a monthly Security report to the General Manager.
    • The Internal Security Personnel shall report to the General Manager

    Procurement Officer

    • Impala Club is seeking a highly skilled & experienced Procurement Officer for its procurement department.

    The ideal candidate will be a Kenyan citizen who has the following Key Qualifications

    Professional Qualifications and Experience

    • Diploma / Degree in purchasing & Logistics, purchasing and supply, supply chain management or any other relevant field.
    • Experience in hospitality set up or supply chain will be added advantage.

    Key Duties and deliverables

    • Prepare and source for quotations for required stock and analyzing the same.
    • Receive and analyze quotations received.
    • Raise LPOs, LSOs after receiving purchase requests from users for approval by the Manager In-charge.
    • Ensure stock is delivered in a timely manner by liaising with venders
    • Sourcing for new Suppliers required by the Club and engaging them with the assistance from the General Manager.
    • Responsible for evaluating suppliers, products and services to ensure they meet the desired quality and quantity.
    • Oversee and supervise the operation of the Stores Section.
    • Ensure proper record keeping of all purchases and reporting monthly on the same.
    • Conduct monthly stock take with the stores / cost controller and providing the report to the Finance Manager & the General Manager.
    • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies.
    • Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures
    • Maintain and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges etc.
    • Responsible for negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring that approved purchases are cost effective and of high quality.
    • Negotiating pricing and supply contracts.
    • The Procurement Officer shall report to the General Manager

    IT Technician

    The ideal candidate will be a Kenyan citizen who has the following Key Qualifications

    Professional Qualifications and Experience

    • Diploma/ Degree in IT, computer science or any related field
    • 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
    • Proficient in database programming and software installation.
    • IT technician certificate will be an added advantage

    Key Duties and deliverables

    • Install hardware and software, maintain the computer systems, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair issues that may interfere with the daily functions of the club touching on networks, printers, scanners etc.
    • Provide support to staff members who need computer related technical assistance
    • Manages the use and maintenance of technology required for day-to-day operational support of staff and implementation, including first level of support Windows PCs and Windows Servers and maintain network infrastructure ISP, router, Ethernet switch and phones, maintain spare parts and hardware repairs and restoration.
    • Maintains, and supports the IT infrastructure and equipment for offices
    • Ensures Windows and other software is maintained and properly usable.
    • ERP configuration and support.
    • Ensures information is backed up and maintained in accordance with Club policies and procedures.
    • Configures and trouble-shoots servers, laptops, desktops and printers.
    • Managing and keeping track of IT inventory and equipment.
    • Develops and maintains preventive measures to avoid internet-related interruption
    • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks & servers to ensure smooth operation, identify and address problems promptly.
    • Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components.
    • Ensuring the security of Impala Club and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software.
    • Setting up new user accounts and profiles and handling password issues.
    • Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and updating computer systems, software, and hardware accordingly.
    • The IT Technician shall report to the General Manager
