Assistant Project Engineer Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in maintenance, installation, service and repair of various electrical equipment, motors, control panels, ATS etc.
• Ensuring that spares or materials lists are available and ready for work assigned including the needed tools to carry out the service.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Required Skills

• Knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electric system
• Skills in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors and maintenance utilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Mechanical knowledge should be an added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications for the Assistant Project Engineer Job

• Diploma KNEC /City & Guild or equivalent qualification in electrical /electronic/mechanical engineering
• Progressive responsibility with 2 years electrical/Mechanical experience
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety and Housekeeping procedures.
