Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimal configuration and design of Serenic Navigator software (version 2013) to meet organizational business needs with agility, in accordance with best practise;
- Provide professional training to internal clients for effective utilization of Serenic NAV system and reporting tools;
- Support systems integrators with required NAV objects manipulations;
- Design and maintain automated periodic financial and management reports using NAV internal capabilities, JetReports, BI systems as well as other data mining systems;
- Utilize Business Intelligence and other reporting capabilities to provide a complex holistic view of the business that facilitate informed stakeholder reporting and decision making;
- Systems Change management to include development in Serenic Navigator;
- Systems monitoring of automated processes for optimal systems integrity, efficiency and availability;
- MS SQL administration and reporting;
- Technical backstopping and application support, relating to incidents, requests and queries raised by ICT systems users.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Relevant experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or any other relevant ICT domain OR an Accounting/Finance degree with sound IT training;
- Certification in MS Dynamics NAV 2013 or later, with expert level functional knowledge of most if not all Navision modules but including BudgetVision & AwardVision is essential;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing Serenic Navigator / Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013/2015/2016 in complex environments, preferably in the non-profit sector, with demonstrated ability to train others;
- Minimum 5 years Microsoft Dynamics NAV C/AL, C/SIDE development experience;
- Experience in handling complex reporting requirements including use of JetReports and SSRS (SQL2012 and above) in deploying reports with multi-value parameters, drilldowns, and creating dashboards;
- Expert understanding of MS SQL Server and required change management;
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Experience in a prior end user based support role;
- Experience in .NET and related development environment is preferred;
