Cloud Platform Senior Account Manager at Oracle

Our challenge:

Selling a subset of Oracle products or services directly or via partners to a large number of customers within a geographical territory

Your challenge:

• Identifying, qualifying and closing new opportunities.
• Managing accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
• Leveraging the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share.
• Building and expanding business partner revenue.

What we’re looking for:

• A leading contributor, providing direction and mentoring to others.
• 8 years applicable experience with 7 years of technology sales experience ** this is what our JD’s typically say – my suggestion would be to change this to ‘3+ years technology sales experience’
• Ability to forecast, manage sales cycles, and successfully close new business.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and account development.
• Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability.
• Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors would be a distinct advantage
