Roles for the Senior Technician Job

• Conduct tool and die setup, changes, maintenance and storage
• Responsible for ensuring the production line tools, equipment and infrastructure are functioning well including managing a maintenance plan and maintaining an appropriate level of spares
• Provide training and leadership to ensure Junior Technician(s) have guidance and ability to conduct maintenance on production tools, equipment and infrastructure
• Provide training to line operators as needed
• Keep records of all machinery and equipment
• Ensure a safe and organized shop workspace
• Always act as a positive representative of the company and consider environmental implications in the factor

Senior Technician Job Requirements

• Mechanical Background. Technician for at least 3 Years
• A good communicator
• A team player
• A hands-on person
• Experience in maintenance of production equipment
• A fast Learner
• At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
