    Branding Officer

    Branding Officer Job Responsibilities

    • The Branding Officer/Graphic Designer will be responsible for the following:
    • Plan, develop and direct marketing efforts for the County brand;
    • Identify and prioritize the County’s marketing and branding needs;
    • Coordinate various marketing initiatives for the County in partnership with the national government, the private sector and key stakeholders in the areas of investment, tourism, culture, national heritage, sports and commerce;
    • Develop and implement a County brand strategy;
    • Ensure the County brand guidelines are upheld in all government departments and agencies;
    • Production of advertisements and other promotional programmes to improve County brand identity and visibility;
    • Supervise brand content development;
    • Manage access to County brand assets;
    • Implement County brand standards and usage guidelines;
    • Work closely with government departments and agencies on issues related to branding especially for County events;
    • Write reports, specifications and creative briefs;
    • Exercise oversight for internal brand communication;
    • Create and sustain a strong County brand; and
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

    Qualifications for the Branding Officer Job

    • Be a Kenyan citizen.
    • Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree from a University recognized in Kenya and a post-graduate qualification in any of the following: Marketing, Public Relations and Communication.
    • Possession of a Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
    • KCSE Grade C+ and above.
    • Have working experience of not less than 5 years, preferably in Brand Management, Public Relations or Marketing.
    • Ability to design, plan, organize and manage events.
    • Demonstrate ability to work with advertising agencies on brand creation and management.
    • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the constitution.
    • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles of public service as outlined in articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya.
    • makueniBe computer literate.
