Qualifications

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum three (3) years experience in network administration.
• Must have Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP), hands on experience in networking, routing and switching with Cisco routers, switches, WiFi and firewalls.
• Must have familiarity with system administration on Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016)
• Must have demonstrable experience in Network Services (DNS, DHCP, SSH, SSL, Email (POP3/IMAP/SMTP), FTP, TCP/IP networking and firewall configurations, etc.)
• Must have experience in active directory administration coupled with a strong ability to set priorities, meet strict deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
• Should have strong interpersonal, organizational and team skills as well as have solid written and verbal communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring stable network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure in line with required technical considerations.
• Carrying out a daily analysis of network devices for any potential performance, availability, and/or stability issues and resolving any issues that are discovered.
• Collecting and reviewing network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes.
• Proactively monitoring of all network devices, services and servers to ensure high availability and service level agreements (SLA’s).
• Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
• Providing on-demand support for end-user issues relating to systems performance and availability.
• Maintaining the network infrastructure including all servers, firewalls, switches and other related equipment.
• Maintaining up-to-date company software including and not limited to anti-virus.
• Maintaining integrity of the network, server deployment and security.
• Providing assistance and expertise to other ICT team members.
• Performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
