    Accountant

    • The candidate will be in charge of the accounting docket of the company and offer proper guidance on the implementation of best accounting practice policies, procedures and principles.

    What you will do.

    • We are looking for a candidate who is able to analyze financial data, correct & track and communicate the financial position of the company. The candidate should also be able make financial reports and hold presentations when required, the candidate should have a knack in being detailed.

    The candidate should possess:

     

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related course.
    • CPA 2 qualification will be an added advantage.
    • Three years and above experience in the accounting field
    • Competency in Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work with a Financial System will be an added advantage.
    •  Attention to detail and have an analytical outlook.

    Duties

    • Incharge of reconciliations i.e., banks, supplier, Customer pay bill.
    • Managing receivables and paybles; following up on due invoices and also ensuring that suppliers are paid as required.
    • Ensuring inventory reports are carried out efficiently and reports are ready when needed.
    • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements as needed and making interpretation of the same.
    • Ensuring Payroll preparation and payments are made accordingly.
    • Preparing Financial Reports as required and making presentations of the same during meetings.
    • Preparing Invoices and making sure all customers have received the correct invoices and make follow up on payments due.
    • Financial audit of the all the required reports and ensuring accuracy of financial records.  Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Office operation and administration. Assisting in any office operations as assigned.
