Overall Responsibility

Design tower rents payment processes that will ensure timely & accurate payments that will match the scale up of the company. Ensure customers Mpesa reversals and partial refunds are done on a timely manner.

Key SMART Results for A-Player

• Reduce payment process from 3 days to 1 day by preparing tower rent payment schedules detailing which ones are paid quartely, semi-annualy and include any other payment patterns - Q1 2023
• To ensure zero failure of DPs due to none payments of tower rents and tower electricity tokens - Q1 2023
• To reduce customers complaints of the delayed refunds by ensuring that Mpesa reversals are done within 24 hours after confirmation of payment reversal - Daily
• To ensure the company does not lose monies paid as deposits by preparing a list of all rent deposits on a monthly basis and design a system where deposits are refunded back to the company whenever the tenancy period expires - Monthly

Level of Management Experience Required (Mandatory & Nice to Have)

• Mandatory - Demonstrated experience in excell operations and Mpesa reversal process
• Department stage of development where this role sits
• Prepare for Scale / Systemisation

Key Competencies Criticality (H, M, L)

• At-least CPA 2 qualifications - H
• Good understanding of excel operations - H
• Good understanding of Mpesa operations such as reversals - H
• Good understanding of key accounting principles & concepts - H

Mandatory Criteria if Any with no exceptions to hire.

• Must have worked in finance department for at-least 2 years
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Ability to efficiently work between different departments.
