Material Clerk at Summit Human Resource & Marketing Consultant

Salary range :                ksh 20,000 – ksh 25,000

Job Summary:

Our client seeks to recruit a material clerk with at least 2 years’ experience in a busy manufacturing company.

Job Description

1. Keep a record of materials given to individual company branches.
2. Sort out re-order levels as per the materials available in the workshop.
3. Advice the management on materials to order.
4. Get LPOs sorted out by relevant departments.
5. Keep record of materials given to different departments
6. Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
7. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
8. Post materials needed in Whatsapp group for approval by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree / Diploma in Procurement
2. Experience in working in a manufacturing company is an added advantage
3. 2+ years of experience in storekeeping.
4. Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
