    Production Technologist III (Mechanical) 

    Job Specification
    Mechanical Section

    • Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in:
    • Carrying out planned mechanical preventive maintenance;
    • Sharpening of rollers;
    • Operating multipurpose lathe machine;
    • Installation of machines;
    • Carrying out mechanical works;
    • Fabricating parts and spare parts;
    • Operating the CTC machine for tea cutting;
    • Generating mechanical maintenance records; and
    • Maintaining safe work environment.

    Person Specifications

    • For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
    • Diploma in any of the following Engineering disciplines: - Mechanical, or other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Been a member of a relevant Professional body;
    • Valid Annual Practicing License from the Engineers Board of Kenya; and
    • Proficiency in computer application skills.
