    Senior Sales Operations Analyst

    About the job

    The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will join a team of experts who help Canonical sales teams achieve their business goals. This highly visible role reports to the Global Sales Operations Director and will contribute to day-to-day support of sales as well as driving strategic initiatives to improve sales productivity, intelligence, planning, training and enablement.

    The success of the role is measured against defined sales performance metrics and KPIs. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who is passionate about the opportunity to partner with sales leadership, is also passionate about our role in the technology industry bringing open source to a wider audience of innovators and enterprises, and will design and drive programs in support of Canonical's continued success.

    Key responsibilities

    • Provide operational support for the global sales team on systems and processes
    • Support assigned aspects of global sales operations
    • Develop accurate reporting and insights on sales performance with Salesforce or Tableau
    • Support sales on-boarding and on-going sales training as a subject matter expert
    • Contribute to on-the-job coaching as well as training content and delivery
    • Develop, socialize, and evolve a winning sales content and training strategy
    • Coach sales managers and develop their ability to improve team performance

    Beneficial Skills And Experience

    • Previous experience in sales operations and/or sales enablement, ideally within an enterprise technology business
    • A thoughtful, systematic approach to systems and processes
    • A focus on investments that deliver robust, repeatable and scalable outcomes
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • A self starter, who will create sales enablement materials themselves as well as leading others
    • Ability to work productively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization on a global scale
    • Ability to manage across boundaries and communicate effectively with Sales, Legal, HR, Finance and Marketing
    • Experience with Salesforce and data reporting tools such as Tableau
    • Experience with enablement systems such as SalesLoft, MindTickle or Highspot
