    Study Clinician - 3 Positions

    Job purpose

    Work as a clinical technical expert in a research study evaluating introduction of thermal ablation to cervical cancer prevention services in reproductive health clinics.

    Responsibilities

    • Train reproductive health providers on cervical cancer screening and treatment of pre-cancer lesions(specifically VIA/VILLI, thermal ablation and cryotherapy procedures).
    • Support continued education and engagement with reproductive health providers in cervical cancer prevention clinics.
    • Generate reports and maintain study records
    • Lead trial working group meetings as required.
    • Participate in resolving monitoring findings and queries.
    • And any other duties as assigned.

    Education and Professional training

    • Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Nursing
    • Trained on cervical cancer screening and treatment with experience in providing reproductive health clinical services
    • Registered by the Nursing or Clinical officers Council

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with direct involvement in patient care especially in cervical cancer screening and treatment
    • Experience working with women in reproductive health delivery an added advantage
    • HIV Counseling and Testing skills an added advantage

    Terms of employment

    Employment is a one year renewable contract with a probation period for the first 3 months. Salary is negotiable within the appropriate grade depending on education, experience and demonstrated competency.
