Team Lead - IT Infrastructure & Support at Spinners and Spinners Ltd (S&S)

Core Responsibilities

IT Operations

• Design, implement, and co-administer (along with the Head of Operations) the company's IT infrastructure-related systems such as servers, user devices, networks, security devices, and software.
• Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, secure and optimal to run existing and new business systems in line with the Company and Operations Strategy.
• Ensure 100% uptime and protection for all information systems and data.
• Ensure delivery of quality IT services as per defined KPIs and SLA.
• Train users for maximum utilization of deployed systems to drive high user productivity and resource optimization.

Team Development & Accountability

• Mentor and coach the Applications Support and IT Infrastructure Support teams.
• Set clear targets and ensure delivery of quality IT services as per defined KPIs and SLA.
• Assess team development needs and facilitate continuous training and upskilling.

Key Deliverables

IT Infrastructure Optimization

• Assess and recommend infrastructure improvements for implementation.
• Optimize for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain an up-to-date IT assets register.

Information Security & Business Continuity

• Design and implement a comprehensive Information Security / Cyber Security Policy.
• Design and implement a comprehensive Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Plan.
• Ensure overall Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of information systems and compliance with the Data Protection Act.

IT Support

• Design and implement SLA for Applications Support and IT Infrastructure Support.
• Optimize delivery of support services as per defined KPIs and SLA.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience is required in designing, deploying and managing/administering networks and IT systems, and overseeing delivery of IT services.
• Experience in leading an IT support team is required.
• Certification in IT service management such as ITIL is required.
• Certification in information security management such as CISSP/CISM/CISA etc. is required.
• Experience in ERP administration is required.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 is preferred.
• Experience with relevant cloud technologies such as IaaS/PaaS/SaaS etc. is preferred.
