Job Summary
Under the responsibility of the Country Manager – Kenya and with support of HQ “Protection and Inclusion Technical Referents”, Technical Coordinator - Protection and Inclusion is responsible for the overall achievement of the project, aiming to translate effectively the international commitments in regard of children’s rights, in particular the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) into practical actions on the ground through improved response mechanisms to child protection within the refugee operations in Kenya. Overall responsible for technical coordination of the project (directly supporting the Project Managers) in the 3 project locations (Dadaab, Kakuma and Nairobi) to guarantee development, ownership and coherence of the approaches chosen for the project. Responsible for the overall compilation of project reports and monitoring the project. He/she will have to create and maintain an environment which prevents sexual exploitation and abuse and promotes the implementation of the code of conduct.

The basic salary range for this position is from Kshs. 137,024 to Kshs 158,849 excluding allowances. positioning in the salary grid will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
