    Regional Capability Trainers

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Evaluation and Planning

    • Works closely with the Trade Marketing, Route to Market, Regional Sales Managers, Insights, Organizational Design Managers and Human Resource Managers to systematically review and identify the current skills, process and capability gaps for each position within the commercial organization versus business design and requirement.
    • Regularly review capability score lines and Sales Force Effectiveness performance from Wingman and Mac Mobile for the Pre-sellers, Account Developers, Area Sales Managers and from Official Coca -Cola Distributors surveys and understand the common opportunities for improvement.
    • Regularly validate the survey results by shadowing Area Sales Managers and Account Developers on the Capability surveys to see real time capability requirements in order to make suggestions for improvements.
    • Review regularly RED, GREEN and GOLD scores for commercial teams.
    • In line with Gaps identified develop and implement capability skills enhancement, process improvement, performance and working routine execution planning and critically data Management development plans for each position or function in line with target improvement area.

    Implementation of Capability development program

    • Develop a quarterly calendar of training and improvement initiatives for your region to address both operational gaps and also strategic initiates, share and align this plan with the Capability Development Managers, Regional Sales Managers and all critical stakeholders Route to Market team, Regional Trade Marketing Managers for alignment and support.
    • Plan should address all critical capability enablers linked to new Coca – Cola Beverages Africa Kenya design and should include technical and digital trainings on Mac Mobile correct utilization and Wingman Reporting and Coaching dashboards as a tool to drive business growth.
    • Monthly and quarterly reviews of said plans with Regional Sales Managers and all stakeholders to review improvements and implement adjustments.
    • Take part in regular Area and Regional operational review meetings and market visits to stay close to the market reality and ongoing opportunities.
    • Subsequently provide input into periodic and timely training need analysis – as per the business requirements. Especially focus on the OSCARS in particular the competency acquisition process.
    • Improves the data management selling and execution skills index through effective on the job and classroom-based coaching and development on specific channels.
    • Tracks and monitors management time in trade coaching Account Managers, Sales Reps, Merchandisers and Field Marketers.

    Executing Capability Development

    • Trains employees and intermediaries as per the Training calendar.
    • Provides On the Job Training as per plan.
    • Utilize tools and instruments to measure the levels of knowledge and skills and ensures consistent and accurate tracking and reporting of the same within the Learning and Development tracker.
    • Provides required data in specified format for National Learning and Development reporting.
    • Ensures effective maintenance of Regional training records as they relate to sales development and co-ordination of training interventions with Human Resources.
    • Develop Competency Based Learning and Development Solutions
    • Designs and develops customized training modules and training solutions to suit the specific and generic needs of the sales force, using appropriate sales data and statistics to identify needs.
    • Design and develop learning materials in support of learning and development activities.
    • Ensure continuous improvement of existing material.
    • Co-develop effective induction programs for sales force.

    Skills, Experience & Education

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience in Sales and Marketing
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a coaching or facilitation, training role
    • Approximately 5 years Sales and Marketing experience, preferably within Management Capacity or Coaching, Training

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ related Degree
    • Certificate in Coaching is an added advantage

    Human Resources Coordinator

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Key outputs and accountabilities

    HR Advisory Support

    • Interpretation, advising and communicating to line mangers and staff on HR policies and procedures, business changes and or updates and ensuring adherence to the same.
    • Support HR Business Partner as regards performance management, deployment, staff development tasks, succession planning processing, manpower planning and budgeting, job evaluation, change management assignments.
    • Gather relevant data from the various functions to support the HR metrics, analyse data, perform trend analyses and report HR performance on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual basis.
    • Facilitate the transfer of staff to various workstations in line with the business needs.
    • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Payroll team to ensure end to end completion of document processing that is, document generation, employee files, payroll that are generated throughout the employee life cycle.
    • Assists with SAP functional queries including transactional, navigation and problem solving so that a professional and efficient HR service can be provided to customers.

    Talent Management Support

    • Facilitates the background checks for potential candidates.
    • Supports the specialist with setting up of psychometric assessments for potential candidates.
    • Completes Employee Take – on processes SAP including payroll interface.
    • Supports the Talent Acquisition specialist in interviews where and when required.
    • Working closely with the Talent Acquisition specialist, to ensure new staff are well on boarded to CCBA.
    • Completed general office administration
    • Completes and controls day-to-day office administrative functions so that all documentation can be correctly and timeously handled, whilst providing a quality service.
    • Ensures at all administrative activities meet the standards of the customer and relevant company policies and procedures 100% accurate, timeous.
    • Records are kept, maintained and updated as per company procedure and access is properly controlled.
    • Co-ordinates various HR activities.

    HR Reporting

    • Draws HR reports, analyses trends and reports on these.
    • Reports meet the standards of the customer on time and 100% accurate and any other specific needs of the customers in line with the requirements set by the HRBP.
    • Helps maintain a positive service culture.

    Employee Relations and Culture Management

    • Supports the conclusion and administration of disciplinary inquiries as and when required.
    • Listen to grievances, advice and implement appropriate disciplinary procedures and ensure compliance to HR policies and procedures on the same.
    • Keep up to date with changes to employment and other relevant legislation and HR best practices.
    • Schedules Union Management meetings and compiles minutes.
    • Administer the annual employee engagement survey in the respective functions.
    • Supports employee engagement initiatives Long Service Awards, Communication sessions, Family Days, Wellness activities.

    Skills, Experience & Education

    Experience

    • Minimum of 1 -2 years’ experience in Human Resources preferably in an FMCG environment.
    • Relevant experience in HRIS systems and processes.
    • Good understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures and the Kenya HR labour laws.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ Degree
    • Post graduate HR qualification is an added advantage
    • Be a certified member of IHRM

    Nairobi Bottlers – Sustainability Manager

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Strategy Development

    • Facilitate the development of sustainability strategy across all business functions and agree medium to long term deliverables with members of the Leadership Team.
    • Develop sustainable development plans to support local priorities, with performance criteria.
    • Review trends, public debates and regulatory development across all the sustainability priorities, assess impact and determine key changes and issues affecting the business in the short, medium and long term.
    • Highlight sustainability risks and investigate innovative solutions to mitigate the risk to the business.

    2. Manage Sustainability Projects and Initiatives

    • Develop sustainability projects, initiates according to identified and agreed priorities and oversee implementation of sustainability projects, initiatives such as waste minimization and recycling project initiative, water stewardship, economic empowerment ,women and youth, climate change.
    • Run awareness and communication initiatives to drive employees’ involvement and engagement.

    3. Monitoring and Reporting

    • Support business commercial objectives and opportunities.
    • Development of sustainability index for country.
    • Submit country sustainability report as per the required reporting procedures.
    • Monitor the country’s performance against group’s targets and manage any gaps with responsible leaders.
    • Ensure companywide implementation and adherence to provisions of the Code of Good Practice .
    • Compile the country’s Bi-annual reporting of sustainability measures.

    4. Stakeholder and PR Management

    • Identify external platforms to showcase country specific sustainability initiatives conferences, magazines and interest group initiatives, enhancing corporate reputation and stakeholder relations management.
    • Engage leadership and key relationship holders to ensure that relationships are developed and maintained.
    • Collaborate with communication team and or PR Agency to develop the PR and communications calendar to address all PR opportunities with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with Internal Communication team to ensure awareness is created on all issues with Internal stakeholders.

    Skills, Experience & Education

    • A Social Science degree, BCOM, Business Management or comparable

    Tertiary qualification.

    • At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in Sustainable Development Management an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of country specific legislations a plus.
    • Exposure to Sustainability monitoring and reporting processes.
