    Assistant Accountant

    Key Responsibilities and Duties

    • Meet and greet clients, both walk-in or by appointment clients who would like to see the various products and make a purchase, showcasing the available options in terms of products and conduct demos.
    • Contribute to market research, including identify market potential and find potential leads, reach out new potential clients via cold calling, email, LinkedIn communication.
    • Build and maintain long term relationships with new and existing customers through daily contact, making presentations, frequent visits.
    • Prepare commercial offers and ensure contracts to achieve assigned sales goals.

    About the Client:

    Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement/Buyer Officer with a background of working in engineering stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services related to engineering and construction operations. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and knowledge of engineering stores to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment.
    • Proven experience working in engineering stores or similar technical procurement roles.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
    • Work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to understand procurement needs and ensure materials are available for ongoing projects.
    • Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues related to deliveries, quality, and invoices.
    • Monitor budgets and expenditure on materials and services, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
    • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
