    Senior DevOps Engineer

    Description:

    In line with supporting the business growth, we seek to recruit well-qualified, experienced, self-driven, highly motivated, and passionate candidates to fill the following position of Senior DevOps Engineer within the ICT DevOps Department.

    Reporting to the Manager DevOps, the Senior DevOps engineer will serve as the subject matter expert for the technologies and solutions used in the automation and monitoring of processes and applications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Defining and setting up development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
    • Designing and implementing various development, testing, and IT infrastructure automation tools.
    • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing bugs in various codebases.
    • Incidence management and root cause analysis
    • Monitoring and measuring platform and application performance in addition to other KPIs.
    • Periodic reporting on performance of platforms and applications.
    • Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
    • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.

    Qualifications

    Role Requirements:

    • Degree in Information Technology or related course
    • Experience in Java, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, Python
    • Good understanding of Source Code version control: Git
    • Working knowledge on CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible
    • Experience in working with containers & orchestration tools: Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm, Fabric
    • Experience working on Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Private & Hybrid Clouds
    • Working knowledge on Continuous testing and automation: Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, Rational Functional Tester
    • Good Analytical & Problem-solving skills.

    Lead Payment Integration Engineer

    Description:

    As a Lead Payment Integration Engineer, you will lead and support a team of Integration engineers who are working to design, implement and support integrations between the Bank’s systems and its partners’ systems.

    Reporting to the Senior Manager - Payments Integration, you will be a part of the team responsible for carrying out the design, implement and support integrations between the Bank’s systems and its partners’ systems. You will ensure the quality of integration implementation by the team and mentor and train them to achieve high performance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the integration team in the implementation of integrations between the Bank and its partners
    • Provide technical leadership in technologies, methodologies and frameworks employment in the integrations space
    • Take ownership of the availability, stability, resilience and performance of the integrations implemented
    • Mentor and support the members of the team to achieve high levels of performance
    • Lead the identification and establishment of the service level indicators to support SLOs (Service Level Objectives)
    • Take leadership in incident response activities to restore services
    • Review outputs from the team to ensure continuous improvement on quality
    • Participate in architecture design, platform management, and capacity planning exercises.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
    • 3+ years’ experience as an Engineering Lead
    • Experience in managing Software engineers
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
    • Experience in programming (structured and OOP) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Java, .NET, and JavaScript

    Lead Site Reliability Engineer

    Description:

    As Systems Site Reliability Engineer Manager, you will lead and support a team of SRE engineers who are working to identify challenges, analyze causes and apply corrective action to ensure that our systems are reliable, scalable and performant as per agreed service level objectives.

    Reporting to the Principal SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) Lead, you will be a part of the team responsible for helping to support 24x7 uptime and availability of production mission-critical services within the Bank. You will help to create more consistent, automated environments across all applications or services, proactively test and tune all aspects of the platforms, streamline CI/CD processes, monitor, and respond to system notifications and alerts and continually work to optimize and improve the performance, security, and reliability of our systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) initiatives in your areas of focus
    • Mentor and support the members of the team to achieve high levels of performance
    • Lead the identification and establishment of the service level indicators to support SLOs (Service Level Objectives)
    • Take ownership of the availability, stability, resilience, and system / service health
    • Provide technical leadership in initiatives to improve availability, stability, resilience of our services
    • Take leadership in incident response activities to restore services
    • Collaborate with Dev teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
    • Participate in architecture design, platform management, and capacity planning exercises.
    • Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
    • 5+ years’ experience as a SRE/DevOps Lead
    • Experience in managing SRE/DevOps/Software engineers
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
    • Demonstrable experience in Containerization-Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes)
    • Demonstrable experience in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, circle CI, Jenkins etc.
    • Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible)
    • Familiarity with Linux and UNIX systems and command line system administration such as Bash, VIM, SSH (secure shell).
    • Basic scripting skills (preferably Golang, bash, shell, etc.,)
    • Experience in monitoring and analyzing infrastructure performance using standard performance monitoring tools – Dynatrace, Azure Application insights, Prometheus, SolarWinds
    • Good understanding of networking concepts e.g., Network routing, Load balancing, and Networking protocols, a base knowledge of TCP/IP, with an understanding of HTTP and DNS
    • Experience in programming (structured and OOP) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Java, .NET, and JavaScript
    • Knowledge and proven hands-on experience in large-scale databases and distributed technologies, such as Kafka and Redis will be an added advantage
