    Lead Payment Integration Engineer

    Description:

    As a Lead Payment Integration Engineer, you will lead and support a team of Integration engineers who are working to design, implement and support integrations between the Bank’s systems and its partners’ systems.

    Reporting to the Senior Manager - Payments Integration, you will be a part of the team responsible for carrying out the design, implement and support integrations between the Bank’s systems and its partners’ systems. You will ensure the quality of integration implementation by the team and mentor and train them to achieve high performance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the integration team in the implementation of integrations between the Bank and its partners
    • Provide technical leadership in technologies, methodologies and frameworks employment in the integrations space
    • Take ownership of the availability, stability, resilience and performance of the integrations implemented
    • Mentor and support the members of the team to achieve high levels of performance
    • Lead the identification and establishment of the service level indicators to support SLOs (Service Level Objectives)
    • Take leadership in incident response activities to restore services
    • Review outputs from the team to ensure continuous improvement on quality
    • Participate in architecture design, platform management, and capacity planning exercises.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
    • 3+ years’ experience as an Engineering Lead
    • Experience in managing Software engineers
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
    • Experience in programming (structured and OOP) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Java, .NET, and JavaScript
    • Demonstrable experience in Containerization-Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes)
