    Senior Human Resource Business Partner

    Recruitment 

    1. Identify recruitment needs & gaps in all departments by working closely with HODs to meet hiring and retention needs. This also involves coming up with recruitment strategies that yield high ratios and bring in high quality talent.
    2. Management of a recruitment tracker to evaluate the conversion rates of each department in an aim to achieve high conversion rates.

    Performance Management - Commercial & Non Commercial Departments

    1. Work with Department heads to ensure policy and the right processes are being followed during the performance management cycle including KPIs setting, performance reviews and the performance improvement process are well established and well adhered to.
    2. Work with managers to drive the implementation of the performance management plans and Co-ordinate the formal performance appraisal for the team.
    3. Identify from the appraisals matters arising for follow up including Training Need Analysis, promotions and Performance Improvement Plans.

    Offboarding

    1. Investigation of resignations , termination of employment and implementation of retention strategies if need be at the first stage of Offboarding.

    Learning and Development

    1. Ensuring training needs are assessed and met monthly.

    Employee Relations & Welfare - Non- Commercial Departments 

    1. Communication: Ensure efficient internal communication.
    2. Frequently support and advice on HR challenges and issues facing the allocated commercial departments.
    3. Ensuring that the most appropriate and due process is followed when handling the above disciplinary cases and in accordance with the Ilara’s HR policy and Kenyan labor laws.
    4. Implement staff motivation and retention initiatives to ensure staff are highly engaged.
    5. Frequently support and advice on HR challenges and issues facing the business Division.

    Culture and Value Embedding -

    1. Embed Ilara culture and values into organization systems and processes.
    2. Drive employee engagement Initiatives , Ilara's culture and values, team building, weekly wrap ups, department meetings, HR Barazas, team bonding sessions, people needs.

    Benefits Administration -

    1. Insurance - Keep track of staff insurance policies and ensure timely placement and renewal.
    2. Ensure the timely and accurate administration of Employee Benefits programs currently in place i. e Healthcare & WIBA.
    3. Preparation of Employee Contracts various staff letters - Offer letters , Promotion letters , Contracts amendment letters, confirmations letters, transfer letters, etc
    4. Confirm all contracts are up to date & check which ones are due for expiry for action.

    Education and Experience:

    1. Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
    2. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
    3. Bachelor's degree preferred.
    4. IHRM Certification

    Growth Intern

    Description of Role
    Ilara Health is seeking to recruit a Growth Intern to support the expansion of new medical products and business lines for deployment across clinics in various regions. Ilara Health distributes new, high quality diagnostic devices to underserved primary health clinics that struggle to afford even basic equipment. The successful candidate/s will be responsible for supporting the implementation of new product and service launches tested at Ilara’s partner facilities. The ideal person for this job has experience working in agile, fast-paced environments and is comfortable working autonomously across various teams.

    Job Responsibilities and Duties

    1. Assist with design and implementation of pilot programs for new diagnostic devices and business lines at primary care clinics;
    2. Track and evaluate results of programs, including ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met;
    3. Establish strong relationships with healthcare facilities and personnel, with frequent and effective communication and in-person visits to ensure success of projects;
    4. Develop customer-centric mindset to rapidly address issues as they arise;
    5. Work cross-functionally with a number of internal and external stakeholders;
    6. Collaborate closely with the team members to provide effective solutions to support business and quality objectives;

    Minimum Requirements

    1. Team player with great organizational skills who can operate independently in a deadline driven and fast-paced environment;
    2. Ability to build fruitful relationships with various stakeholders;
    3. Quick learner, able to seamlessly adapt from one project to another;
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    5. Have strong computer skills;
    6. Fluent in spoken and written English and Swahili;
    7. Demonstrated understanding of the medical diagnostics landscape in Kenya.
    8. Basic technical knowledge of diagnostic devices
